So where is this Cisco Live 2024 Celebration?

Let’s start with a bit of history.  I have been going to Cisco Live since 2022 where I had the privilege of visiting the Thomas and Mack Center on the UNLV campus, where Dave Mathews Band performed.  Unfortunately Dave wasn’t doing so well and was holding back a bit due to some vocal issues during the performance, but we still had a good time.

Last year, we had the “Hollaback to Cisco Live” celebration with none other than the dynamic duo of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, at the amazing Allegiant Stadium, where the 2024 Cisco Live Celebration will be held once more.

Allegiant Stadium is known as the home of the NFL football team, the Las Vegas Raiders.  The grand opening was in 2020 and spans around 62 acres just opposite of the Vegas Strip across Interstate I-15, and within walking distance of Mandalay Bay and Luxor casinos.  Another interesting note related to Cisco and the Cisco Live experience, is that this stadium is filled with cutting edge technology.  As a guy that holds wireless technology close to the heart, Allegiant Stadium was one of the first to use the Cisco 9104 Stadium Antennas which give you granular control over your RF beam steering electronically.  It was pretty cool to take a look around and see just how many of these things there were.  With its modern and sleek design and majestic torch sitting atop the highest deck, it is sure to impress all that join the celebration.

So who is the performer for this year 

 As the sun goes down on Vegas June 5th, having endured long days on my feet, I’ll hope that I’m still standing so I can enjoy the show.  I hope that this artist will play your song, and hope that you can get close enough to the stage so they don’t look like a tiny dancer from your seat.  As you sacrifice your feet as you walk to the show through empty gardens in Vegas, we will want to know if you are ready for loving what is about to transpire.  If you can’t get to Cisco Live this year, you will be singing sad songs and I guess that is why they call it the blues.

Okay, I’m done, no really, don’t click away now.  I’m sorry!  

 Folks, this year Cisco has partnered with the LEGENDARY artist Sir Elton John, member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame, Academy Award winner, Golden Globe winner, Tony Award winner, among countless other accolades.

Final Thoughts

It is still uncertain as to whether I will be attending this year, but regardless, I am appreciative for the past two years.  As a Cisco Insider Champion since 2021, it has been amazing to experience, getting to know the many friends I have made along the journey.  For those of you that are going and are veterans, have a blast.  For those of you that are new to the event and want some tips on how to best be prepared to make the most of it click the post below.
